On Capital Hill

I have come to realize that most people are miss informed about the War in Iraq. Politicians talk about what is next, but few can honestly tell you why our troops are there. When did Afghanistan become Iraq and how did it transition to Saddam Husain’s Doorstep and execution? Most people believe that it all started from 9/11 which is not completely true. It has been documented in the Book Chain of Commandwhich I greatly recommend that George W. Bush wanted to go to war in Iraq before he became president and why? Well there was an assassination attempt placed on George H.W. Bush. The fact that this is not publicized is horrible, what a great way to preserve the power of the Military Industrial Complex. Anyway back to 9/11 which was blamed on the Terrorist Organization that consumed the Afghanistani government. We clam that we Neutralized that area, so thus we take a second look at that rebellious dictator Hussein. Well he stopped inspectors from entering his country, which I can understand.  Soon after that George W. Bush writes a watered down excuse of why we should fight in Iraq. This was affectionately called the Bush Doctrine. It lists three specific reasons:

1. Saddam Hussein was Harboring Terrorists     

2. Saddam Hussein was collecting Biological Weapons and WMD’s

3. The Iraqis hate us.

Oddly enough all of these are false, but we still went anyway because of the American Imperialistic way of going to a county and take resources, because it is in Americas best interest. Sounds to me like the Bully at the playground beating on weaker kids for a candybar that was not his to begin with.
